A Bit About the Team
Hi, I'm Gabby!
I have loved animals ever since I was young and dreamed of becoming a dog groomer. I'm very happy to have realized that dream, and I love my career! I have experience working three years at a dog hotel before continuing on to attend dog grooming school, graduating in 2019 from Fluffy Paws Grooming School. After school, I spent six months as an apprentice before working at Hearts and Paws starting in 2020 and meeting all the lovely people & dogs here! I took over the business in August of 2023, and now have a son with my wonderful husband. I love making every dog’s visit a great experience, and can't wait to meet your pup!
Hi, I'm Lee!

Hi! My name is Lee and I am so excited to meet you and your furry, fluffy or feathered friends here at Hearts & Paws. I have been a professional pet groomer for the last 4 years and I feel grateful everyday that this is what I get to do.
In my late teens, I spent several years working with a Canadian pet company called SuperPet. There I gained knowledge and experience with dogs, cats, small animals, parrots, fish and even reptiles! I also had my first hands on experience in their grooming salon briefly before life took me on a move to Calgary. After 10+ years in the Calgary and K-W construction industry and feeling unfulfilled, I knew I had to make a change and somehow get back to doing what I loved the most; working with animals.
I have always been a very creative person with my own hair, having had every colour of the rainbow and every length and style, so naturally, dog grooming seemed like the perfect place for me. I spent a year apprenticing in a small but very successful salon in Kitchener, received my certification from The Canadian Professional Pet Stylists organization and eventually took on the role of Head Groomer and Salon Manager. When the salon unfortunately closed its doors, I began a search to find a salon that felt like home again, and I know I’ve found it here at Hearts & Paws.
When I’m not grooming your furry family members, I’m spending time with mine! My 10yr old son and our 2 dogs, Rosie and Peewee are the lights of my life and keep me laughing through it all. I also enjoy gardening, trail walks, beach days and wherever I am, there will always be music playing.
I am honoured to be your groomer at Hearts & Paws and I can’t wait to see you all soon!
